Signal relays are low-current electromechanical and solid-state switches used to route control signals in PLCs, instrumentation, and interface circuits. Common types include PCB-mount and through-hole, DIP-packaged, reed, solid-state, and latching relays in SPST, DPDT, and 4PDT contact arrangements.
