Shipping & returns

This page summarises how we ship orders and how returns are handled. The quotation you receive for each order is the controlling document — where it states different terms (incoterm, lead time, warranty period), the quotation prevails. See also our Terms of sale.
Consolidation & inspection
- Orders sourced from multiple suppliers are consolidated at our Shenzhen desk into one shipment with a single freight bill.
- Every line is checked against your BOM — part number, date/lot code where stated, quantity, and packaging (reel, cut tape, tray, or tube) — before despatch. Photos are available on request at no charge.
- ESD-safe handling and moisture-barrier packaging are used for moisture-sensitive devices.
Carriers & incoterms
- Standard despatch is by international express courier (DHL, FedEx, or UPS). Air and sea freight are available for volume orders.
- Quotes are issued EXW, DAP, or DDP as stated on the quotation. Import duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility unless the quotation states DDP.
- Tracking numbers are provided for every shipment on the day of despatch.
Lead times
Lead time is quoted per line. In-stock lines typically despatch within 2–5 business days after payment clears; sourced lines follow the lead time stated on the quotation. Consolidated orders despatch when the last line arrives and passes inspection, unless you request partial shipment.
Discrepancies & DOA
- Inspect goods on receipt. Report shortages, wrong items, or transit damage within 7 days of delivery with photos of the goods and packaging.
- Dead-on-arrival (DOA) items reported within the DOA window stated on the quotation are replaced or refunded after verification.
Returns
- Returns require a return authorisation (RMA) issued by our desk before anything ships back. Contact us with the order reference and reason; we respond within one business day.
- Stocked items in unused, original packaging (unbroken reels, sealed MSL bags) are returnable within 30 days of delivery. Return freight is the buyer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.
- Specially sourced, cut-tape, and spot-buy lines are quoted as final sale and are not returnable except for DOA or a verified discrepancy — this is stated on the quotation line where it applies.
Warranty
Warranty terms are stated per line on the quotation. Where the manufacturer’s warranty applies, we assist with the claim; where our desk warranty applies, we replace or refund verified failures within the stated period.
