1.1 A solid-state switching in a 4-SMD package
The Panasonic AQY212GHAX is a PhotoMOS™ AQY series solid-state relay switching 1.1 A continuous at up to 60 V AC or DC through a single-pole single-throw normally-open (SPST-NO) output. The 700 mOhm max on-state resistance keeps conduction losses low enough that the 4-SMD package can handle the full rated current without a heatsink in typical signal-level applications.
What the 1.14 V input threshold means on the bench
Because the output switches both AC and DC, a single BOM position covers mixed-signal paths: audio, sensor excitation, and low-power solenoid drive all through the same relay footprint.
Gull-wing termination and board-fit
The 4-SMD package with gull-wing leads (0.300" body width, 7.62 mm) matches the standard SOIC-4 footprint — no custom pad geometry needed, and the leads are visible for optical inspection after reflow.
