Signal relay for low-power AC/DC switching
The Panasonic AQY210LSX is a PhotoMOS™ AQY series solid-state relay in a SPST-NO (1 Form A) configuration, designed for switching low-level AC or DC signals up to 120 mA across a load voltage range of 0 V to 350 V. Rated for 120 mA continuous load current, this relay suits applications like multiplexing analog sensor signals, driving small solenoids, or switching low-power loads in test equipment and industrial controls where mechanical relay wear is unacceptable.
On-resistance and signal integrity
The 25 Ohm maximum on-state resistance means the relay adds a series resistance of that value when closed — for a 10 mA signal through a 1 kOhm load, the voltage drop across the relay is 0.25 V, which is negligible in most logic-level circuits but must be budgeted in precision analog paths. Because the output is a MOSFET pair (AC/DC capable), there is no minimum load requirement — unlike an electromechanical relay, the AQY210LSX switches dry circuits (microamp-level signals) without contact oxidation or stiction.
Surface-mount footprint and assembly
The surface-mount package and tape-and-reel option make it suitable for automated pick-and-place in medium-to-high volume production runs.
