What the 50 mA / 600 V rating means for your BOM
The AQY216EHA is a solid-state relay (SSR) from the PhotoMOS AQY series, switching AC or DC loads up to 50 mA with a blocking voltage of 600 V. That 50 mA ceiling is the key fit check — this is a signal-level relay, not a power relay. It isolates a low-voltage control signal from a higher-voltage load side without mechanical contacts. The 120 Ohm max on-state resistance means the relay drops about 6 V at full 50 mA load — fine for driving a logic input or a small indicator, but not for powering a solenoid or motor directly.
Surface-mount in a 4-SMD package (0.300" x 0.300" body, 7.62 mm pitch) with Gull Wing leads. The footprint matches standard SOIC-4 land patterns — no special pad geometry. Reflow-solderable with standard lead-free profiles; no moisture sensitivity level is stated, so assume MSL 1 unless the reel label says otherwise.
