About Interface & Transceivers

Interface and transceiver ICs translate voltage levels, protocols, and physical-layer signaling between chips, boards, and cabinets. An RS-485 transceiver connects a PLC to a Modbus line three hundred meters long; a CAN controller links ECUs inside a vehicle; an Ethernet PHY brings a sensor node onto the factory LAN. Selection criteria include data rate, supply voltage, node count, ESD protection, and package type. Texas Instruments, Maxim Integrated, Analog Devices, NXP, and Microchip offer the broadest portfolios. Filter by protocol, download datasheets, and request BOM quotes.
