The ICE3AR10080JZXKLA1 is an offline flyback switcher from Infineon's CoolSET™F3R series, integrating a CoolMOS™ power MOSFET with an 800 V breakdown rating. It delivers up to 22 W in isolated flyback topologies, switching at 100 kHz. The 800 V breakdown gives headroom for universal AC input designs (85–265 VAC) where reflected voltage and leakage spikes can push the drain well above the rectified DC bus. The 100 kHz switching frequency keeps the transformer core size manageable for a 22 W output.
Protection set and operating envelope
Built-in fault protection covers over-load, over-temperature, and over-voltage conditions — the controller latches off or auto-restarts depending on the fault, so the supply doesn't run into thermal runaway or deliver an unregulated output. The start-up voltage is 17 V, and the Vcc operating range runs from 10.5 V to 27 V, which accommodates the auxiliary winding voltage variation across load and line.
