The TI ISO6762QDWRQ1 is a 6-channel unidirectional digital isolator from the ISO676x-Q1 series, built with capacitive coupling technology and rated for 5000 Vrms isolation. It is designed for SPI bus isolation in automotive and industrial systems where a reinforced isolation barrier is required between a controller and its peripherals — think ADAS sensor interfaces, battery-management communication links, or motor-drive control signals that must cross a safety isolation boundary. The part carries AEC-Q100 qualification and operates across -40°C to 125°C, suiting it for under-hood and high-ambient-temperature environments.
The 50 Mbps data rate supports standard SPI clock rates up to 50 MHz in full-duplex mode, covering the majority of automotive and industrial SPI peripherals (ADCs, DACs, digital potentiometers, sensor hubs). The 100 kV/µs common-mode transient immunity ensures that fast-switching edges from adjacent power stages — SiC or IGBT gate drivers switching at tens of kV/µs — do not corrupt the isolated data stream.
