Six-channel SPI isolator rated for 5000 Vrms — what that means on the bench
The TI ISO6763QDWRQ1 is a 6-channel, unidirectional digital isolator built around capacitive coupling, designed to pass SPI buses across a galvanic isolation barrier. The 5000 Vrms isolation voltage is the headline number — that's a reinforced-grade barrier for applications where a fault on the high-voltage side must not reach the low-voltage controller. Common-mode transient immunity of 100 kV/µs keeps the data path clean when a motor drive or inverter switches at high dV/dt; a lower CMTI part would glitch and lose bits under those conditions.
No isolated power on board — plan the secondary-side rail
This part does not include an integrated DC-DC converter; isolated power is marked as 'No' in the spec. That means each side of the isolation barrier needs its own local supply rail.
