2.7V fixed LDO with 200 mA output and wide temperature range
The STMicroelectronics LDK220C27R is a positive fixed-output LDO regulator delivering 2.7V at up to 200 mA from a maximum input of 13.2V. Its PSRR of 55 dB at 120 Hz to 50 dB at 10 kHz means it can clean up ripple from a switching pre-regulator feeding an analog rail — the 5 dB roll-off across the audio band is typical for a low-Iq LDO in this class.
Dropout margin and quiescent budget
Maximum dropout is 350 mV at the full 200 mA load, so a 3.0V nominal input rail (after IR drop) still holds regulation with about 50 mV of headroom. Quiescent current is 90 µA typical, with a supply-max of 100 µA — this keeps the always-on load in a battery-powered design under 0.1 mA while the main converter sleeps. Enable control lets the system power-cycle the rail without a series FET.
Package and footprint for SOT-323-5
The SOT-323-5 (SC-70-5 compatible) package is a compact 5-lead surface-mount footprint. The supplier device package is SOT-323-5; the listing also accepts SC-70-5 and SOT-353 footprints interchangeably. The small body saves board area but limits thermal dissipation — keep the load current and ambient temperature within the junction rating, especially if the input-to-output differential exceeds 3V.
