Quad comparator with automotive-grade temperature range
The LM2901VQPWRQ1 is a quad differential comparator from Texas Instruments, qualified to AEC-Q100 for automotive applications. It packs four independent comparators into a 14-TSSOP package, each with open-collector outputs that interface directly to CMOS, MOS, or TTL logic.
Supply flexibility and input characteristics
Maximum input offset voltage is 7 mV at 5 V, tight enough for threshold detection in window comparators and over-voltage/under-voltage lockout circuits. Each output can sink up to 20 mA typical, enough to drive a logic input, an LED indicator, or a small relay coil through a pull-up resistor. Quiescent current maxes at 2.5 mA for all four channels — the total supply draw stays under 3 mA even at high temperature.
