What this supervisor does on the board
The Texas Instruments 2T03-01QDCKRG4Q1 is a Simple Reset/Power-On Reset supervisor that monitors a single supply rail and holds the system in reset until the voltage stabilizes above the adjustable threshold. The active-low, open-drain output pulls low during power-up, power-down, and brownout conditions, releasing only after the supply is valid. With a 5µs typical propagation delay, it catches fast supply glitches before logic states can corrupt.
Automotive-grade build and temperature range
AEC-Q100 qualified and rated for -40°C to 125°C ambient, this part is built for under-hood, engine bay, and chassis-domain electronics where temperature swings and vibration are the norm. The SC-70-5 package keeps the footprint small — fits into the same land pattern as standard SOT-353 supervisors, so a board layout swap is straightforward.
Adjustable threshold — one part, multiple rails
The threshold is adjustable/selectable via external resistor dividers, so the same reel can serve multiple rail voltages. That simplifies BOM consolidation for multi-rail ECUs — one line item covers several voltage domains. The open-drain output allows wired-OR connection with other fault signals on a shared interrupt line.
Lifecycle and sourcing
ROHS3 compliant. No last-time-buy risk to plan around.
