Wideband PSRR and low quiescent for noise-sensitive rails
The LDK120PU12R delivers 55 dB of power-supply rejection ratio across the full 120 Hz to 10 kHz band — that covers both mains ripple and the fundamental switching harmonics of a downstream DC-DC converter, so a clean 1.2 V rail reaches the analog or RF load without an extra LC filter stage. Quiescent current sits at 60 µA typical, with a maximum supply current of 100 µA — low enough for always-on sensor nodes or microcontroller keep-alive domains where every microamp extends battery life.
Dropout and protection for tight-headroom designs
Maximum dropout voltage is 0.3 V at the full 200 mA load — the input rail can dip to 1.5 V and still hold the 1.2 V output in regulation, which matters when the supply is a battery nearing end-of-discharge or a lightly loaded boost converter. Built-in over-current and over-temperature protection let the regulator survive a sustained short or an ambient spike without external crowbar circuitry — the device simply folds back and recovers when the fault clears.
Package and temperature grade for space-constrained boards
Housed in a 6-XFDFN measuring 1.2 mm × 1.3 mm (supplier device package 6-DFN), the LDK120PU12R fits into the tightest corner of a multi-layer board — the exposed pad underneath conducts heat to the PCB copper plane, so the thermal path is through the via array, not the package body. Rated for -40°C to +125°C operating junction temperature, the part spans industrial and automotive under-hood ambient without derating the output current.
