Single OR gate in a 5-pin SOT-753
The ROHM BU4S71G2-TR is a single 2-input OR gate from the 4S series, packaged in a 5-pin SOT-753 (SC-74A) footprint. It takes up about the same board area as a single bypass capacitor, making it a fit for dense mixed-signal boards where a full 14-pin SOIC OR gate would waste routing channels.
3V to 16V supply, 1 µA quiescent
Supply range spans 3V to 16V, covering 5V and 12V industrial rails without a separate level translator. Quiescent current maxes out at 1 µA, so this gate can sit on a battery-powered sensor node without draining the cell during idle periods. Output sink and source are both rated 3.4 mA, enough to drive a downstream CMOS input or a low-current LED indicator. Propagation delay is 30 ns at 15V with a 50 pF load — adequate for general-purpose logic interconnects and debounce circuits, though not for high-speed clock trees.
Temperature range and environment
The SOT-753 package is compatible with standard reflow profiles and does not require moisture-sensitive handling beyond typical MSL precautions.
