Single-gate inverter in SOT-753
The BU4SU69G2-TR is a single-gate CMOS inverter from ROHM's 4S series, packing one inverter circuit with one input into a 5-pin SOT-753 (SC-74A) package. It takes a logic-level input and outputs the inverted state, drawing only 1 µA quiescent current maximum across its 3V to 16V supply range.
Supply range, temperature, and drive
Operating from 3V to 16V, this inverter covers standard 5V, 12V, and 15V logic rails without needing a separate regulator. Output drive is rated 3.4 mA source and 3.4 mA sink — enough to switch a downstream gate input or a low-power LED indicator, but not a relay coil directly. Propagation delay is 25 ns typical at 15V with a 50 pF load, so it handles clock rates up to about 20 MHz before the delay eats into the timing budget.
Input thresholds and logic family compatibility
Low-level input threshold spans 1V to 2.5V, and high-level input spans 4V to 12.5V, varying with supply voltage. At 5V supply, a 1V low and 4V high means it accepts standard TTL levels on the low side but needs CMOS drive levels on the high side — a 3.3V logic output may not reliably reach the high threshold at 5V Vdd.
The Tape & Reel packaging (also available in Cut Tape) feeds directly into a pick-and-place machine without a reel change.
