The TW8831-LB1-CR from the Techwell series is a video LCD controller designed to handle composite video decoding for NTSC, PAL, and SECAM standards, then drive an LCD panel through its integrated timing and control logic. It operates from a dual supply of 1.8V and 3.3V, keeping the digital core and analog front-end on separate rails for noise isolation. The serial control interface lets firmware adjust scaling, contrast, and sync timing without extra GPIOs.
