Isolation barrier and data-link performance
Rated for 5000 Vrms isolation, the PS9324L-AX provides a reinforced safety barrier between high-voltage and low-voltage domains in industrial fieldbus, motor-drive feedback, and isolated sensor interfaces. The 10 Mbps data rate with 75 ns max propagation delay (tpLH/tpHL) supports most common industrial communication protocols including RS-485, CAN, and digital I/O links without timing margin concerns. Common-mode transient immunity of 15 kV/µs minimum means the output stays clean when a motor drive or inverter switches — the data link won't glitch from fast voltage slewing across the isolation gap.
Output drive and input-side interface
Open-collector output sinks up to 25 mA per channel — sufficient to drive a small relay coil, an optocoupler LED on the secondary side, or a standard TTL/CMOS logic input with a pull-up resistor.
Package, footprint, and temperature grade
Housed in a 6-SOIC package (0.268" body width, 6.80 mm), the PS9324L-AX also lists a 6-SDIP supplier device package variant — verify the exact footprint against the board layout before committing. Cut Tape works for prototype or low-volume builds.
Lifecycle and compliance posture
Single-channel configuration (1/0 inputs side 1/side 2) means one isolated data path per package — a multi-channel design requires multiple devices, which affects board density and BOM cost.
