Precision analog front-end on a 32-bit MCU
The R5F523E5AGFL#10 is a Renesas RX23E-A series 32-bit microcontroller built around the RXv2 core running at 32 MHz. Its distinguishing feature is the integrated data converter array: six 12-bit SAR ADCs and twelve 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs, enabling direct connection to strain gauges, thermocouples, or load cells without an external analog front-end.
Peripheral set and connectivity
The MCU integrates DMA, LVD, POR, PWM, and WDT peripherals, plus CANbus, I²C, SCI, and SPI serial interfaces. The 16 general-purpose I/O lines are brought out to a 48-LQFP package (7x7 mm LFQFP), suitable for compact PCB layouts where board space is at a premium.
