The PS8352AL2-AX is a single-channel photocoupler from the NEPOC series, delivering 5000Vrms galvanic isolation between input and output — enough to separate a 24 VDC control bus from a 400 VAC motor-drive power stage in an industrial inverter, where the isolation barrier must withstand repetitive peak voltages without breakdown.
Temperature range and package fit
Rated for -40°C to 110°C operating ambient, the part covers the industrial temperature band — a PLC I/O module sitting in a non-conditioned cabinet that sees 85°C on a summer afternoon still has 25°C of margin before the output degrades. The 8-SOIC wide-body format provides the creepage distance needed to sustain the 5000Vrms isolation rating across the mould compound surface.
Production status and compliance
