The Mitsubishi M51392P is a wideband video amplifier in a 14-DIP through-hole package. It is designed for video signal processing tasks — think analog video distribution, buffering, or gain stages in CCTV, broadcast, or medical imaging equipment where the signal path needs clean gain across a wide frequency range.
Package and mounting
The 14-DIP (0.300", 7.62mm) package is about as rework-friendly as it gets. You can pull it with a standard DIP extractor or hot air without lifting a pad — the lead pitch is wide enough to solder-wick cleanly, and the body has enough thermal mass that a quick hit with the hot-air station won't cook the adjacent board. If you're replacing one on a board that's been through a few thermal cycles, pre-tin the pads and use flux; the through-hole barrel wets easily.
