3 A per output, single or dual — the fit decision
Rated 3 A per output in a single- or dual-output configuration, the ISL8036IRZ can deliver up to 6 A total when both channels are paralleled. The 1 MHz switching frequency keeps the inductor and output capacitor small, which matters when board space is tight. Synchronous rectification is built in — the low-side FET replaces the external Schottky diode, cutting conduction loss and simplifying the layout. The output is adjustable from 0.8 V up to the input voltage, covering common core and I/O rails.
Housed in a 24-VFQFN with exposed pad (4x4 mm body), the ISL8036IRZ requires a thermal land on the PCB to pull heat from the die. Supplied in tube, the part is compatible with standard pick-and-place equipment. The ROHS3 compliance covers EU and global regulatory requirements.
