The ISL3179EIBZ-T7A is a single-channel half-duplex transceiver supporting RS-422 and RS-485 protocols at a data rate of 40 Mbps — fast enough for Profibus, Modbus RTU at high baud rates, or backplane interconnects where the bus length stays under a few metres. The 28 mV receiver hysteresis cleans up noisy differential signals without external filtering.
