Dual current-feedback amp for high-speed signal chains
With a 350 V/µs slew rate and 125 MHz -3 dB bandwidth, it suits video distribution, high-speed ADC drivers, pulse amplifiers, and RF signal conditioning. The ±4.75 V to ±18 V dual-supply range lets it run from standard ±5 V, ±12 V, or ±15 V rails, and the two channels in one package reduce per-channel board area versus single amplifiers.
The 350 V/µs slew rate means this amplifier can reproduce large-signal pulses with minimal distortion — think video sync pulses, radar return edges, or fast-settling DAC outputs. For a 5 V output step, the rise time is roughly 14 ns, which keeps the waveform clean well into the tens of megahertz. If your signal chain drives a cable or a capacitive load, that slew rate also helps maintain edge integrity at the far end.
Supply rails and output drive
The HA5023IBZ96 operates from dual supplies between ±4.75 V and ±18 V, covering the common ±5 V, ±12 V, and ±15 V industrial rails. Each channel can deliver 20 mA of output current, which is enough to drive a 50 Ω load to about ±1 V swing or a 75 Ω video load with a gain stage. The 7.5 mA supply current per amplifier is modest for the speed class — a dual amp draws 15 mA total quiescent, leaving thermal headroom in the 8-SOIC package.
