1 Mbit asynchronous SRAM in a 12 ns window
The 71024S12TYG is a 1 Mbit asynchronous SRAM organized as 128K x 8 bits, accessed through a parallel interface. The 12 ns access time and matching 12 ns write cycle time mean the part can keep up with a processor bus running at roughly 40 MHz without wait states — the read-to-data-valid window is tight enough for zero-wait-state cache or scratchpad duty.
32-SOJ package and board integration
Housed in a 32-SOJ (Small Outline J-lead) package, 0.300-inch body width, 7.62 mm. Supplied in tube packaging, which is the typical carrier for this package format. The tube protects the leads during handling and feeds into most tube-compatible pick-and-place feeders without a tray changeover.
Renesas lists the 71024S12TYG as Active in its product portfolio.
