Logic capacity and I/O budget for the glue-logic layer
The OR3C805BA352-DB is a Lattice Semiconductor ORCA™3C FPGA with 3872 logic cells and 116000 usable gates — enough to absorb a moderate amount of peripheral logic, bus bridging, and state-machine control without needing a separate CPLD on the board. Its 298 I/O pins give the routing headroom to connect to a wide parallel bus, multiple memory banks, or a dense backplane connector without multiplexing the data lines. The 63488 bits of on-chip block RAM handle small FIFOs, look-up tables, or coefficient storage — enough to keep the external SRAM off for low-latency scratchpad use.

Surface-mount package in Bulk format — the reflow profile follows the standard JEDEC MSL level for the package; no special handling beyond the usual moisture-sensitive-device bake if the floor life is exceeded.
