The OR2C40A4BC432-DB is a Lattice ORCA™2 FPGA with 342 user I/O and 99,400 usable gates — that gate count places it in the mid-density range of the ORCA2 family, suitable for integrating multiple 8- or 16-bit bus interfaces, address decoding, and state-machine logic into a single device. On-chip memory totals 57,600 RAM bits, enough for small FIFOs, register files, or look-up tables without external SRAM. The 3,600 logic elements (cells) provide the fabric for combinatorial and sequential logic. Runs on a 3 V supply rail — common in mid-2000s mixed-voltage systems — with a commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C, so it is specified for indoor, controlled-environment equipment rather than extended-temperature or automotive deployment.

The ORCA2 series is a mature 0.35 µm / 0.25 µm FPGA family; while not a current-generation architecture, the active status means Lattice continues to manufacture and support it without a forced migration timeline.

Supplied in Bulk (non-tape-and-reel), surface-mount package. The 432-ball BGA footprint requires a standard reflow profile for a 1.0 mm pitch device — no special handling beyond MSL moisture sensitivity bake if the sealed bag is compromised.
