The Intel EPM570T100A5N is a MAX® II family CPLD — instant-on, non-volatile, in-system programmable. It packs 570 logic elements and 440 macrocells into a 100-TQFP package with 76 I/O.
The 100-TQFP package (14x14 mm body) is a standard footprint for pick-and-place.
Intel continues to manufacture the MAX II family, so this part is suitable for new designs and production replenishment.
The EPM570T100C5 is the commercial-temperature variant (0°C to 85°C), while the EPM570T100A5N is rated for -40°C to 125°C. Both share the same 100-TQFP package and 5.4 ns tpd. Choose the C5 for benign indoor environments; the A5N for industrial or automotive-adjacent applications.
The internal supply accepts either 2.5V or 3.3V. I/O banks can be configured to match the same rail or a different voltage within that range, depending on the design.
No pin-compatible second source exists from another manufacturer. Within the MAX II family, the EPM570T100C5 is the same die with a narrower temperature range. For a functionally similar CPLD from the older MAX 7000A series, the EPM7128ATI144-10 offers 128 macrocells and 100 I/O in a 144-TQFP, but the pinout and package differ.
