The Altera EPM1270GF256I5 is a MAX® II family CPLD packing 980 macrocells and 1270 logic elements in a 256-ball FBGA (17x17 mm). It gives you 212 user I/O, in-system programmability, and a 6.2 ns pin-to-pin delay — fast enough for address decoding, bus bridging, or state-machine consolidation without a separate configuration memory. Core supply runs 1.71 V to 1.89 V, and the -40°C to 100°C junction temperature range suits it for industrial control, motor-drive interface, or outdoor telecom line cards where the ambient can climb.
