The BTS50902EKAXUMA1 is a 2-channel high-side power switch from Infineon's PROFET® family, rated for a continuous output of 2.5 A per channel with a typical on-resistance of 90 mOhm — the Rds(on) at junction temperature will be higher, so derate for the actual load current and ambient. Load voltage range spans 5 V to 28 V, covering 12 V and 24 V automotive and industrial rails without needing an external Vcc supply — the switch is self-powered from the load pin. Integrated fault protection includes current limiting (fixed), open-load detection, overtemperature shutdown, and overvoltage clamping — the part handles lamp inrush and short-circuit events without external clamp diodes for most loads within the SOA.
