5V reference rail for precision signal chains
The ADR02AUJZ-REEL7 is a 5V series voltage reference from Analog Devices' ADR02 family, delivering a fixed 5V output with ±0.1% initial tolerance. It sources up to 10 mA, enough to bias multiple ADC reference inputs or a small resistive DAC ladder without an external buffer. This combination keeps the reference stable enough for 12- to 14-bit converters across industrial temperature swings. The input range spans 7V to 36V, so it can run directly from a 12V or 24V industrial supply rail without a pre-regulator. The 1 mA quiescent supply current is low enough for always-on reference rails in battery-backed systems.
TSOT-23-5 footprint and assembly
Housed in a TSOT-23-5 package (SOT-23-5 Thin), the part occupies about 3 mm × 3 mm on the board. The thin profile suits height-constrained assemblies like PCMCIA cards or stacked mezzanine boards. This is the standard carrier for pick-and-place assembly.
