Negative rail from a single positive supply
The ADM8828ARTZ-REEL7: With a fixed output topology and a maximum output current of 25 mA, it is sized for low-power analog rails — op-amp supplies, bias generators, or sensor front-ends that need a clean negative reference without an inductive converter.
Switching frequency and load capability
The internal oscillator runs at 120 kHz, which sets the charge-pump capacitor size and the output ripple frequency. At this switching rate, the flying capacitor and output capacitor are typically in the 0.1 µF to 10 µF range — small enough for the SOT-23-6 footprint.
Supplied on Tape & Reel (TR) or Cut Tape (CT), it suits both high-volume pick-and-place and prototype rework.
For a BOM that requires a negative rail from a single 1.5-5.5 V supply, this part is a current-design fit with no imminent obsolescence risk.
