Active lifecycle — still a current-production line item
The AD7933BRUZ-REEL7: This is a standard catalog part from Analog Devices, not a phase-out or last-time-buy situation.
1.5 MSPS sampling with flexible input muxing
Sampling at 1.5 MSPS with 10-bit resolution, the converter's throughput is set by the SAR architecture and the parallel data interface — no serial protocol overhead to budget. The input front-end is a MUX-S/H-ADC configuration with a 1:1 S/H-to-ADC ratio, meaning each sample is taken directly from the selected channel without interleaving artifacts. The input type supports differential, pseudo-differential, or single-ended connections — this covers bridge sensors, thermocouple front-ends, and single-ended voltage monitoring without an external signal-conditioning stage. The number of inputs is configurable as 2 or 4, determined by the input mode selected.
Single-supply rail and industrial temperature grade
The reference can be either external or internal, giving the designer control over the full-scale range. In internal mode the reference is generated on-chip, saving a board component; external mode allows ratiometric measurements tied to a precision reference.
28-TSSOP footprint and reel packaging
Housed in a 28-TSSOP package — 0.65 mm pitch, 4.40 mm body width. Surface-mount only. The Tape & Reel / Cut Tape option means it ships on 13-inch reels for automated pick-and-place or as cut tape for prototype builds. ROHS3 compliant, no exemption-based restrictions for EU or global shipping.
Where it sits in the cycle — active, not allocation-sensitive
This is a current-production Analog Devices part with no allocation signals or extended lead-time flags in the distribution channel.
