12-bit SAR ADC with a single supply rail
The AD7466BRMZ is a 12-bit successive-approximation (SAR) ADC that samples a single-ended input at 200 kSPS.
What the 200 kSPS and 12 bits mean for your BOM
At 200 kSPS the converter captures a 100 kHz bandwidth signal under Nyquist — enough for multi-point temperature scanning, battery voltage monitoring, or audio-level sensing. The SPI/DSP serial interface runs at the ADC clock rate and connects directly to a microcontroller's SPI port. Because the digital supply can be as low as 1.6 V, the interface is compatible with 1.8 V logic without a level translator.
Package, pinout, and peer compatibility
The pinout is shared with the 10-bit AD7467BRMZ and the 14-bit AD7940BRMZ — a board laid out for one accepts the others without a layout change, so a resolution upgrade or cost-down swap is a BOM edit, not a board spin. The tube packaging is standard for prototype and low-volume production; reel options may be available under a different order code.
