The AD22103KRZ-R7: That means at 25 °C you see 0.7 V on the output pin — no external reference, no gain stage, just a wire to your microcontroller's ADC input. The scale is ratiometric to the supply, so if your ADC shares the same 3.3 V rail, the reading stays accurate without a voltage reference. Accuracy is ±2 °C at 25 °C, widening to ±2.5 °C across the full 0 °C to 100 °C range. That is fine for thermal monitoring, enclosure temperature, or process sensing where a degree or two of uncertainty does not trip a limit. Not a calibration-grade sensor, but it does not need trimming on the board.
8-SOIC — field-swappable with basic tools
The 8-SOIC footprint is a standard 0.154-inch-wide body, 3.90 mm width. You can swap it on site with a temperature-controlled iron and some flux — no hot-air station required if the board has decent solder mask. The part is surface mount, so orientation matters: pin 1 is marked with a dot on the package top. Available in Tape & Reel for pick-and-place reflow or Cut Tape for prototype runs. Both are standard order options, so you are not locked into a minimum reel quantity for a small build.
