Transient suppressor for 18.8 V rails
The 1.5KE22CA A0G: Its 18.8 V reverse standoff voltage (V_RWM) protects 18 V or 19 V DC rails; clamping starts at 20.9 V breakdown and limits transients to 30.6 V at 51 A peak pulse current. The bidirectional configuration means a single part clamps positive and negative surges equally — useful on AC signal lines or floating DC buses where polarity reversal is possible.
DO-201 axial package — board integration
Housed in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead through-hole package with a DO-201 supplier device code. No power line protection claim — this is a secondary-side transient suppressor, not a primary AC mains protector. Use it on DC power inputs, signal lines, or low-voltage AC rails downstream of the main fuse.
Marked active in production by Taiwan Semiconductor. Sourced through independent and authorized distribution channels. Availability and current pricing confirmed against an RFQ; the DO-201 package is common across multiple TVS families, so alternate sourcing is straightforward.
