Automotive-grade transient suppression for 24V rails
The 1.5KE22AHA0G: Its 18.8V reverse standoff voltage and 30.6V clamping at 51A (10/1000µs) make it a direct fit for suppressing load-dump and inductive-switching transients on 24V automotive power buses. The 1.5kW peak-pulse rating means the device can absorb a single 51A surge lasting 1 ms without entering thermal runaway — the sort of transient that occurs when a solenoid or relay coil is switched off in an engine-bay environment.
Supplied in a DO-201AA (DO-27) axial-lead through-hole package. The DO-201 footprint is standard across the 1.5KE family, so the PCB layout accepts any voltage variant in the series without a board spin. The Tape & Box packaging suits hand-insertion or vibratory-bowl feed in low-to-medium volume builds.
