How the score works

Each factor is normalised across the suppliers you entered: the best value in each column gets 100 and the worst 0, then your weights blend the four into one score out of 100. Because it's relative to the quotes in front of you, the ranking is fair even if every price is in a different currency — enter them all in the same currency first.

Gross margin is (target resale price − unit price) ÷ target resale price. If you sell at the same target price regardless of supplier, the lowest-cost supplier carries the best margin — the comparison bars make that visible before you commit to a source.

Weight the factors that matter for this buy — an urgent shortage calls for a heavy lead time weight, a routine replenishment might weigh price alone. This is a decision aid, not a substitute for checking lead time commitment, quality and support.

Chosen your supplier? Generate the RFQ or purchase order from the winning quote, or check the landed cost of the imported order before you commit.
