600 V, 10 A fast recovery rectifier in TO-220FPAB
The STTH20LCD06CFP: Its 50 ns reverse recovery time places it in the fast recovery class (trr < 500 ns), making it suitable for switching power supplies and high-frequency rectification stages where recovery losses matter. The TO-220 Full Pack (TO-220FPAB) insulated package eliminates the need for an insulating pad between the device tab and the heatsink, simplifying assembly and improving thermal coupling in through-hole designs.
Forward drop, leakage, and thermal limits
Reverse leakage is 1 µA at the full 600 V blocking voltage at 25°C; leakage doubles with temperature and should be factored into standby power budgets in high-ambient designs. The 175°C junction rating provides headroom for surge conditions and high-temperature environments, but the thermal resistance of the TO-220FPAB package is higher than a standard TO-220 — derate the continuous current if the heatsink is limited.
