150 V, 5 A common-cathode Schottky in D2PAK
The STPS10150CG-TR is a dual Schottky rectifier from STMicroelectronics, configured as a 1-pair common-cathode diode in the D2PAK (TO-263AB) surface-mount package.
Forward drop and thermal budget at operating current
At 5 A forward current per diode, the maximum forward voltage is 920 mV. This is the spec to budget for conduction loss at the rated current — at 5 A and 920 mV, each diode dissipates about 4.6 W, and the junction temperature rating of 175°C maximum sets the thermal management requirement for the D2PAK footprint on the PCB copper pour.
Reverse leakage and switching speed
Reverse leakage at 150 V is 2 µA typical — low enough that it does not materially affect standby power in a 150 V rail. The device is classified as Fast Recovery (≤ 500 ns, > 200 mA), which means it handles the reverse-recovery transition fast enough for 50-100 kHz switching power supplies without significant turn-off loss.
Sourcing reality for the BOM line
The D2PAK (TO-263AB) package is a standard surface-mount footprint, and the Tape & Reel format (Cut Tape also available) suits both prototype and volume assembly.
