Flash, RAM, and EEPROM budget for a bare-metal firmware fit

The STM32L082CZY3TR packs 192 KB of flash and 20 KB of SRAM on a Cortex-M0+ core clocked at 32 MHz — enough headroom for a USB composite device with a small RTOS or a sensor-fusion hub that logs to the 6 KB EEPROM without wearing the flash. The 20 KB RAM splits across the main SRAM (16 KB) and a dedicated 4 KB retention SRAM that survives Stop mode; the bootloader does not steal any flash beyond the first 2 KB page, so the full 192 KB is available for the application.

49-WLCSP package and board-level integration

The 40 GPIOs are all available on the outer rows; the centre balls are VDD/VSS pairs that need a via-in-pad or a filled microvia to reach the inner power plane.

Peripheral set and connectivity

Includes a 13-channel 12-bit ADC, a 2-channel 12-bit DAC, a USB 2.0 FS device controller, and multiple serial interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART/USART, IrDA, LINbus). The LCD controller drives up to 8x40 segments directly — useful for a battery-powered meter that keeps a segment LCD alive in Stop mode while the core sleeps at 0.4 µA.
