The STM32L062K8T6 is a 32-bit microcontroller built around the ARM Cortex-M0+ core running at 32 MHz — the entry-level 32-bit architecture that balances code density and power draw for battery-operated and always-on sensing applications. Its 64 KB flash program memory pairs with 8 KB SRAM and a separate 2 KB EEPROM block, which is unusual for this class: the EEPROM stores calibration constants and configuration data without wearing the flash, and it survives 100,000 write cycles typical per the STM32L0 family datasheet.
Peripheral set and I/O allocation in a 32-pin LQFP
The 32-LQFP package (7x7 mm body) exposes 27 general-purpose I/O pins — only five pins are consumed by power and ground, which is a high utilization ratio for this pin count.
