480 MHz Cortex-M7 with 2 MB on-chip flash
The STM32H753ZIT6 is a 32-bit single-core microcontroller built around the ARM Cortex-M7 core running at 480 MHz, placing it in the high-performance tier of ST's STM32H7 series. With 2 MB of flash and 1 MB of SRAM on the same die, this part handles firmware images that would overflow smaller members of the family — think large application stacks, graphics frame buffers, or dual-bank OTA update schemes that need a full image slot in flash. The 1 MB of RAM (1M x 8) is split across multiple SRAM blocks in the memory map, so the Cortex-M7 can run code from tightly-coupled memory (DTCM/ITCM) at full core speed while the DMA engines move data between peripherals and the main AXI SRAM without stalling the CPU.
Connectivity and peripheral set for system-level integration
The connectivity list covers most industrial and communications buses: CANbus, Ethernet MAC, multiple I²C and SPI ports, USB OTG, SD/SDIO/MMC for external storage, and a QSPI interface for memory-mapped access to off-chip flash or PSRAM. On-chip analog peripherals include a 36-channel 16-bit ADC and two 12-bit DACs, enough for multi-channel sensor acquisition or closed-loop control without an external converter. The internal oscillator and brown-out detect/reset reduce the external BOM to a decoupling cap and a crystal for timekeeping if needed.
