170 MHz Cortex-M4 with mixed-signal peripherals
The STM32G473CBU6 runs a single-core ARM Cortex-M4 at 170 MHz — the clock ceiling for real-time control loops in motor drives, digital power supplies, and sensor fusion nodes where the DSP extensions and FPU handle the math without a separate coprocessor. On-chip memory is 128 KB flash and 128 KB SRAM (organized as 128K x 8), enough for a mixed-signal firmware stack with a real-time OS, communication buffers, and application code without external memory in many designs. The 21-channel 12-bit ADC and 4-channel 12-bit DAC let the MCU sample multiple analog inputs and generate analog outputs directly — reducing external signal-chain components for current sensing, temperature monitoring, or waveform synthesis.
Connectivity and peripheral mix for fieldbus and sensor fusion
Connectivity includes CANbus, I²C, SPI, UART/USART, USB, QSPI, and SAI — covering fieldbus interfaces (CAN), serial sensor buses (I²C/SPI), and high-speed serial memory (QSPI) in a single device.
