64 MHz Cortex-M0+ with on-chip USB Type-C PD
The STM32G071G8U6 is a 32-bit single-core ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontroller from the STM32G0 series, clocked at 64 MHz. The 64 KB flash and 36 KB RAM give enough headroom for a modest firmware stack — a USB Type-C Power Delivery controller, a sensor-fusion loop, and a small RTOS fit without squeezing. The integrated USB Type-C interface with Power Delivery support means a separate PD PHY chip is not needed for a single USB-C port — a cost and board-space saving for designs that charge or communicate over USB-C.

Housed in a 28-UFQFPN 4x4 mm package (supplier device package 28-UFQFPN), this is a fine-pitch 0.5 mm land-grid array. The brown-out reset and POR peripherals handle the power-up sequence internally.
