Cortex-M0+ at 64 MHz with USB Type-C PD
The STM32G071CBT6 is an STMicroelectronics STM32G0 series MCU built around a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M0+ core running at 64 MHz. It packs 128 KB of flash and 36 KB of SRAM, which together budget for a control loop, a USB protocol stack, and a modest data buffer without external memory. The headline peripheral is USB Type-C with Power Delivery support — this is the feature that lifts the G071 above the base STM32G0 parts. For a design that needs to negotiate power roles or charge a battery over USB-C, this MCU integrates the PHY and the PD controller, saving a separate chip and the associated BOM cost.
Memory, analog, and I/O budget

With 36 KB of RAM, the headroom above a typical FreeRTOS + USB stack is about 20 KB for application data — enough for a moderate sensor buffer or a command queue.
