216 MHz Cortex-M7 with 512 KB Flash in 144-LQFP
The STM32F723ZET7: The 144-LQFP package (20x20 mm) gives you 112 I/O pins to work with — enough for a parallel bus to an external memory or display alongside a full set of serial peripherals. The 216 MHz core speed means the single-cycle multiply-accumulate and double-precision FPU chew through sensor fusion or audio processing loops without the MCU becoming the bottleneck.
Connectivity and peripheral mix
The STM32F723ZET7 carries CAN, USB, I²C, SPI, UART, SAI (serial audio), and QSPI — the QSPI interface lets you memory-map an external NOR Flash or PSRAM for additional code or data space without bit-banging a parallel bus. The 24-channel 12-bit ADC and dual 12-bit DAC cover analog front-end duties for current sensing or audio output. The EBI/EMI controller can interface to external SRAM, NAND Flash, or a display controller over a parallel bus — the 112 I/O count gives you the pins to do that while keeping the serial ports free.
The base product number is STM32F723, so any PCN or errata updates from STMicroelectronics are tracked under that root.
