The 144-ball LFBGA measures 10x10 mm with a 0.8 mm ball pitch. This is a fine-pitch BGA — standard PCB fab can route it with 4+ layers, but X-ray inspection is needed to verify solder-joint integrity after reflow. The 72 MHz PLL requires setting the Flash wait state to 1 before raising the core clock above 48 MHz, or the first branch instruction hard-faults. SWD debug stays alive even with the watchdog armed, simplifying firmware bring-up.
