64Kbit SPI EEPROM with AEC-Q100 qualification
The M95640-DRMN8TP/K is a 64Kbit serial EEPROM from STMicroelectronics, organized as 8K x 8 bits, communicating over an SPI bus at up to 16 MHz. The wide supply voltage range of 1.8V to 5.5V lets it sit on either a 3.3V or 5V rail without a level shifter, simplifying the BOM for mixed-voltage designs.
16 MHz SPI bus and 4 ms page write
At 16 MHz the SPI clock delivers adequate throughput for parameter storage and calibration tables in automotive ECUs. Compared to the smaller 8Kbit sibling M95080-DRMN8TP/K, the M95640 offers eight times the density in the same footprint and same AEC-Q100 grade. If your BOM currently uses the M95080 and you need more parameter storage without a board spin, this is a direct drop-in replacement — same pinout, same SPI commands, same supply range.
Active production, AEC-Q100 traceability
ROHS3 compliant. The AEC-Q100 qualification means each reel ships with traceable lot codes and a certificate of conformance, which the component engineer will want on file for the PPAP submission.
8-SOIC footprint and layout notes
The 8-SOIC package has a 0.154-inch width and 3.90 mm body. The supplier device package is 8-SO.
