1Kbit serial EEPROM for parameter storage
The STMicroelectronics M24C01-WMN6TP/S is a 1Kbit serial EEPROM organized as 128 x 8 bits, accessed over an I²C bus at up to 400 kHz. It stores calibration constants, configuration bytes, or small lookup tables in a non-volatile memory that retains data through power cycles. The 900 ns access time and 5 ms write cycle per page suit low-duty-cycle parameter updates in industrial controllers, telecom line cards, and instrumentation front-ends where the I²C bus is shared with sensors or ADCs.
