Product details

Dual comparator for automotive and industrial threshold detection

Each of the two comparators sinks 16 mA at 5 V, enough to drive a logic input or an optocoupler LED directly. Maximum quiescent current is 2.5 mA for both channels, keeping the power budget tight in always-on modules. Input bias current maxes at 0.25 µA at 5 V, and input offset voltage at 7 mV at 5 V — figures that matter when the threshold is set by a high-impedance divider. The rail-to-rail input common-mode range lets the comparator sense signals near either supply rail, which is useful for zero-crossing or over-voltage detection.

Housed in an 8-MiniSO (3.00 mm width) surface-mount package, the LM2903YST fits compact PCB layouts for space-constrained ECU or sensor modules. The supplier device package is 8-MiniSO. Tape & Reel and Cut Tape options are available for production or prototype volumes.

No last-time-buy risk for ongoing BOM lines.

Frequently asked questions

Does the LM2903YST have rail-to-rail output?

The LM2903YST has an open-collector output with rail-to-rail input common-mode range. The output is open-collector, not rail-to-rail push-pull — it can sink current but requires a pull-up resistor to the desired logic voltage for a high output.

Is the LM2903YST automotive qualified?

Yes, the LM2903YST is AEC-Q100 qualified, making it suitable for automotive applications including under-hood and cabin environments.
